Plight

A Feature Film Sponsored by 3LD

A cinematic experience redefining how autism is seen, heard, and understood.

Adventure | Drama | Sci-FiRuntime: 88 minutes
Plight is an upcoming feature film that centers the voices of autistic individuals—literally. Featuring an all-autistic cast and built on lived experience, Plight uses cinematography and storytelling to create a deeply emotional, first-person perspective on autism.

This project is proudly fiscally sponsored by 3LD, a not-for-profit building new support structures to create original works that challenges convention, amplifies unheard voices, and expands access to resources and creative technologies.

We support work that challenges convention, amplifies unheard voices, and expands access to creative technologies.

Why Your Gift Matters

Your donation goes toward free screenings across the country, helping us bring Plight to schools, universities, film festivals, and community centers—places where it can spark conversation, build empathy, and reshape how autism is portrayed in media.

We're focused on reaching the people who need it most: families, educators, advocates, and communities seeking to better understand autism from the inside out.

A portion of every donation also supports our partners doing critical work in the field: Autism Speaks, Inclusion Matters, and the Autism Research Institute.

This is more than a donation. It’s a statement.
Support inclusive, transformative storytelling at the ground level.
